Ajagajantharam is an Indian Malayalam language film released in cinemas on December 23, 2021. The HD version of the film was released for release in 2022. The film was scheduled to release on December 23, 2021, but its release was postponed due to the second wave of Kovids affecting India. But after its release for the show, there was a film that was far ahead of the two Meow and Kunjeldho films. Divided into action and adventure genres, Ajagajantaram is directed by Malayalam film director Tinu Pappachan and scripted by Kichu Tellus and Vineeth Vishwam. Produced by Silver Bay Studios Productions, Ajagajantharam is produced by Emmanuel Joseph and produced by Ajith Thalapilly. The film is directed by Jinto George and edited by Indian filmmaker and editor Shameer Muhammed, with music director Justin Varghese contributing to the film. Released for release in 2021 through Central Pictures, the film has a running time of 122 minutes, a gross of Rs. 4.7 crores and a box office gross of Rs. 300 million. The story of Ajagajantharam 2021 is based on the fact that a minor altercation at an annual Devala Perahera in the village of Aranjali eventually escalates into a riot in which the youth and adults of the village also participate. Also, many young and middle-aged people in Aranjali village are addicted to alcohol and drugs and are portrayed in the film as a large and arrogant group as well as a violent group. The organizing committee of the Devala Perahera has decided to hold the Perahera with the participation of elephants for the first time. To this end, they are bringing an elephant to the Aranjali Perahera for the first time, involving Lali and others who supply elephants for such festivals. Lali is also a young man who is addicted to alcohol and often gets into fights with various people. He got into an argument with a young man in the village during the procession and assaulted the young man. With this incident, a chain of interconnected events begins throughout the village and there are frequent exchanges of blows between the youth of the village and the ivory hunters including Lali. The story goes on to show that in the end, the villagers get together and use various thugs as well as various weapons to kill Lali and his group, while a small incident leads to a big riot.
